New Office Space at Corner of State and Hubbard
Ownership team focused on Chicago and Los Angeles
Chicago (April 29, 2009) -- River North Insurance Services, a newly formed and Chicago-based insurance brokerage, today announced that it will be opening the doors of its offices at 400 N. State St. The company will initially focus on providing business and personal lines of insurance. River North will also be providing insurance services to the entertainment industry.
River North is being led by owner and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Segal. The company is emerging at a time when people are taking a closer look at protecting their personal wealth and business ventures in a volatile economy.
"We have established relationships with a target client base that requires customized solutions and service that goes beyond what most insurance brokerages typically can provide," Segal said. "The foundation of River North will be based upon delivering that exceptional level of service to our clients and developing individualized insurance plans that provide them with long-term security and peace of mind."
River North will develop customized, cost-effective personal insurance and financial plans for affluent individuals and their families. The River North team will devote significant time and resources to the due diligence function because it serves as the framework for managing insurance and financial needs. This will involve performing a comprehensive analysis of each client’s exposures, insurance needs and existing policies. River North will use their research findings to structure an insurance portfolio that provides the appropriate types and levels of coverage for each client.
River North will take an integrated approach toward insurance and risk management by coordinating the services of professionals in various highly specialized disciplines. River North will employ five specialists with over 100 years of experience when operations officially begin later this month. The founding team offers a deep understanding of working with and servicing clients' specialized needs. River North's offices will be on the third floor of the building on 400 N. State Street and the space has capacity to eventually accommodate a staff as large as 30. In the future, the company also plans to open an office in Los Angeles that will specialize in the entertainment industry.
